This has my curiosity tweaked. Obviously there were 17 other snow fighters. What was their mission. I see no plows or sweeper brushes. Did they just drive around highly visible and keep the snow below bumper level?

From the Gotham Center discussion board - (...) "These former NYC Transit buses were used to clear bus stops. They carried crews of workers, who would pull up to a bus stop, and throw shovels full of salt out the side windows."
