NFTA 5023937 viewsNFTA #5023 on the now-defunct 9 Parkside route at layover on Kenmore Avenue in 1979. The NFTA was the first order of the 40-foot, 96" wide buses with serial numbers 001-065. Another batch of TH-8603 slopebacks were delivered in 1980 with livery numbers 5066-5078 and were the second order of buses equipped with wheelchair lifts for NFTA Metro Bus.
