CT Transit 30731130 viewsOn April 20, 1987, CT Transit New Haven division bus #3073 was operating the 4:30pm trip from Waterbury to New Haven on what was then known as the "U" route. Near the Waterbury - Cheshire town line, a box truck headed in the opposite direction crossed the center line of the road and sideswiped the bus, causing extensive damage and injuring 10 people. These photos show the damage to bus #3073, which was scrapped after the accident.
