Tysons Connector1364 viewsThe free midday shuttle service was launched in November 2009 to provide travel options within Tysons by connecting office buildings and shopping malls. Two weekday circle routes (TC1 and TC2) operated at 10-minute intervals between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The service was funded by the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project and operated by Fairfax County; it has been discontinued on December 30, 2010 because of low ridership. CT Transit 30731364 viewsOn April 20, 1987, CT Transit New Haven division bus #3073 was operating the 4:30pm trip from Waterbury to New Haven on what was then known as the "U" route. Near the Waterbury - Cheshire town line, a box truck headed in the opposite direction crossed the center line of the road and sideswiped the bus, causing extensive damage and injuring 10 people.
