CT Transit 30731130 viewsOn April 20, 1987, CT Transit New Haven division bus #3073 was operating the 4:30pm trip from Waterbury to New Haven on what was then known as the "U" route. Near the Waterbury - Cheshire town line, a box truck headed in the opposite direction crossed the center line of the road and sideswiped the bus, causing extensive damage and injuring 10 people.
