Green Lines 102999 views#102 - a 1954 GM TDH4512 44 passenger 'air suspension' job sitting on a cobblestone street in Jamaica, NY.
Notice the missing second set of wings under the windshield (probably the result of never being replaced after an accident).

Green Lines 716828 views# 716 - a 1938 Mack model CT3G (Ser# 1016) 37 passenger (@$ 9721.20 ea.) spending its final days in the Rockaways.
This bus must have been very close to retirement because the body was no longer kept in Green Line tradition!
Most of these buses eventually went to Jamaica Buses.

Notice the vented rear engine compartment doors that were eliminated on the 4507 models.
Looks as though emissions were not a big issue in those days!
